What EZUFT Does for Your Freedom Panels

What EZUFT Does for Your Freedom Panels

Do you love your JK, JL or Gladiator, but find the “freedom” tops time-consuming to remove and unwieldy to store?

A quality product designed just for Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator, with 3-piece hard tops, EZUFT is rust-free. The patent-pending EZUFT (Ultimate Freedom Top) system uses heavy-duty, marine-grade aluminum struts, along with symmetric-constant torque hinges and stainless steel exterior hardware, to allow for much easier opening and closing of your freedom panels. EZUFT is simple to operate and will enable you to maintain a low profile on both the interior and exterior of your Jeep.

EZ Freedom Panels for Your Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator

Installation instructions for EZUFT are included in the box, and are simple and straightforward. When in the ‘open’ position, each freedom panel rests securely on two neoprene rubber landing pads, which will help avoid the risk of scratching and prevent any annoying vibrations.

An SS locking-pin mechanism adds an extra measure to secure the panels in place, and a waterproof silicone sealant is used to create a tight seal around the installed hardware. The EZUFT SYSTEM does not interfere with or disrupt your manufacturer’s seal or locking-down mechanism for the Freedom Panels.

If you wish to remove the entire top of your Jeep Wrangler or Gladiator after having installed the EZUFT System, do so according to the manufacturers’ guidelines, after having opened and locked your panels into place. Once the panels are locked in the open position, the roof may be lifted off in its entirety.

EZUFT positions its hinge system in a way that allows for smooth and repetitive opening and closing of the Jeep Wrangler curved panel tops—just like a car door, with perfect alignment and fit every single time.

EZUFT Options

The EZUFT SYSTEM is available for all JK and JL Model Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators with Freedom Panels, whether they are 2-door or 4-door models.

The EZUFT SYSTEM may be purchased with “Standard Finish,” which is a tough black powder coating, along with black oxide-coated exterior hardware. It may also be purchased in a Polished Natural Aluminum Finish (without powder coating or black oxide finish on the hinges and exterior hardware), so that the customer may have it color matched as desired. Due to the large variety of color finishes on Jeep Models, we regrettably do not provide the color match service.

The Wrangler and Gladiator are the most popular Jeep models. Currently four different roof options are available for these Jeeps. All of which have variable degrees of difficulty to remove for off road driving.

The Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator Have various roof options

The Wrangler and Gladiator are the most popular Jeep models. Currently four different roof options are available for these Jeeps. All of which have variable degrees of difficulty to remove for off road driving.

One of the most requested Jeep roof options is the 3-Piece Hard Top.

With the EZUFT system installed, the 3-piece hardtop option is easier to operate and enjoy. Of all the aftermarket accessories designed to enhance your open-air driving experience, the EZUFT System is currently the least expensive and easiest method to use, and it allows you to retain the benefits of a Wrangler hardtop.

More durable and a lot quieter than any soft top, the hard top lets you also have your glass rear windows, a rear defroster and a rear windshield wiper. Unlike aftermarket soft top “inserts,” which replace or remove your tough freedom panels, using the EZUFT System allows for that true full open-air experience as was intended, with clear sight lines and an easy return to the hardtop experience and its associated security.

The EZUFT System is also a great addition for the rugged, 3-piece hardtop Gladiators. Gladiator’s powerful, off-road capabilities and open-air freedom make it a perfect candidate for EZUFT. Installation and operation is the same as with the JL Wrangler.
